A Big Bite, Inc. Production 

Big Bite, Inc., a Santa Monica based production firm, is producing "America Undiscovered" for JLTV. 

Susan Neisloss, Host & Executive Producer:

Susan’s passion for uncovering and sharing unusual and compelling stories dates back to her early career as a broadcast journalist in major television markets. 

Her communications expertise spans the corporate and public relations arenas, e.g., senior executive at Golin/Harris and Fleishman Hillard, two of the world’s leading global public relations firms; and, international spokesperson, media manager, and video producer at pharmaceutical giant, Syntex, now Roche. She also was communications director for the CBS flagship station in Los Angeles where she served as spokesperson and liaison with the network's entertainment division.

Susan has hosted, written and produced hundreds of videos, and conducted media and crisis trainings for a variety of corporate and non-profit clients. 

Susan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Stanford University and graduated from Columbia Journalism School’s Sulzberger Executive Leadership Program.

Denise Soulam, Writer & Producer:

Denise Soulam brings more than 30 years of television production experience from her career at The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She produced the show’s famous Christmas products segments, wrote lead-ins to the comedy segments, and headed up the research department. Additional experience includes:
 

  • Wrote comedy for Joan Rivers and Jay Leno

  • Coordinator between show writers, producers, design teams, and on-air talent

  • Photographer for show bumper slides used between commercials

  • oversaw licensing of photo librarySupervised show’s photo and graphics departments, e.g., arranged photo shoots, 

  • Research and write stories/scripts for "America Undiscovered"

  • Photographer for Worldwide Orphans Organization events

 

Denise attended Mount San Antonio Jr. College and Cal Poly, Pomona. She also takes UCLA extension classes as often as possible.

Kristin Finkle, Producer & Editor:

Kristin has been at Big Bite since 2009 and is responsible for pre-production, production and editing of all projects. Her degree in psychology makes her a keen observer and gives her insight into the lives of the people she interviews. She’s skilled at finding where the story is and what makes the person so compelling. Kristin’s responsibilities include:
 

  • Research and develop storylines for all productions

  • Conduct pre-interviews 

  • Coordinate logistics between creative team and videographers

  • Manage editing, special effects and music library for all projects

  • Supervise Big Bite and "America Undiscovered" social media strategy


Kristin earned her B.A. in psychology from Cal State Long Beach.
